Her career in journalism began with Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and news reporter with WPDE-TV. She then worked as an anchor and morning reporter for WCBD TV. Her reporting on the streets of Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI incidents.
